Shakers suggested use: "Combine equal parts of sour cream and mayonnaise. Add Shakers Dill Dip to taste for vegetables, crackers, chips, and baked potatoes."
 
Although the Shakers once inhabited nineteen communal settlements and reached a maximum size of approximately 6,000 members in the 1800s, the Sabathday Lake Shaker Village in New Gloucester, Maine is the only active Shaker community remaining in the world.
